MISSION STATEMENT

To retain and preserve for future generations the existing high quality water, abundant and diverse fish and wildlife habitat, and the present natural aesthetics of Turtle Lake.

The Turtle Lake Association consists of 171 paid members out of approximately 235 possible members. The goals of the association are to promote preservation of the natural resources of the lake and surrounding forests. Turtle Lake is located near the towns of Marcell and Talmoon, Minnesota within the boundaries of the Chippewa National Forest. With 22 miles of shoreline, the lake provides a wonderul habitat for wildlife and recreational opportunities all year long. While a good portion of the property is privately owned, many visitors frequent the area and enjoy the fishing, hunting, the beautiful landscape and watching eagles soar high above. This site serves to provide information to members and interested parties to the events in maintaining the preservation of the lake and wildlife habitat.
